Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: 24 July 2026

1. Purpose

This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains how subscription cancellations, billing and refund requests are handled by MzansiMaths, a trading brand of Yekhethu Business Venture (Pty) Ltd.

Our aim is to provide a fair, transparent and consistent process while ensuring the sustainability of our educational services.

2. Subscription Model

MzansiMaths operates on a recurring monthly subscription model.

An active subscription provides the learner with access to the selected mathematics programme and any associated features included in that subscription.

Subscriptions automatically renew each month unless cancelled before the next billing date.

3. Cancelling Your Subscription

Subscribers may cancel their subscription at any time.

Cancellation will stop future recurring payments but will not affect access to the Platform for the remainder of the current paid billing period.

Once the current subscription period expires:

  • Access to subscription-only content will end.
  • No further subscription fees will be charged unless the subscription is renewed.

4. Refund Policy

Due to the nature of digital educational services, subscription fees are generally non-refundable once access to the Platform has been granted.

This policy applies because learners receive immediate access to digital educational content upon successful payment.

5. Refunds That May Be Considered

Refund requests may be considered where:

  • A duplicate payment has been processed.
  • An incorrect amount has been charged due to a billing error by the Company.
  • An unauthorised transaction is verified following investigation.
  • The Company is unable to provide the purchased service for reasons within its reasonable control.
  • A refund is required by applicable South African law.

Each request will be assessed individually based on the information available.

6. Situations Where Refunds Will Generally Not Be Granted

Refunds will generally not be granted where:

  • The learner has changed their mind after purchasing a subscription.
  • The learner no longer wishes to continue studying.
  • The learner has not used the Platform after purchasing a subscription.
  • The learner experiences poor academic performance.
  • The learner forgets to cancel before the next billing cycle.
  • The cancellation occurs after the subscription fee has already been successfully processed for a new billing period.

Nothing in this Policy limits any rights available to consumers under applicable South African law.

7. Failed Payments

If a recurring payment cannot be successfully processed, access to subscription services may be suspended until payment is successfully received.

Repeated payment failures may result in the cancellation of the subscription.

8. Processing Approved Refunds

Where a refund is approved, the Company will process the refund using the original payment method wherever reasonably possible.

Refund processing times may vary depending on the payment service provider and the customer's financial institution.

9. Changes to This Policy

MzansiMaths reserves the right to amend this Refund and Cancellation Policy from time to time.

Any material changes will be published on the Platform and will apply prospectively.
